at the trAce Roadshow in Birmingham (UK) on Tuesday 22nd June at
7.30pm.
The trAce Roadshow makes its next stop MAC in
Birmingham (UK) on Tuesday 22nd June at 7.30pm. Tim Wright will be presenting
an introduction to new media writing and working with the people he meets to
piece together the mystery of what happened to Oldton (www.oldton.com), his
childhood town.
Accompanying him at the event is Catherine Byron, a former TEXTLAB participant, who will present her experiments with audio and new media based on the work of Chaucer. Catherine is a poet currently based at Nottingham Trent University, where she teaches Medieval Literature and Writing. From 2003-2006 she holds an AHRB Creative Fellowship in Writing, and will be making new works for the web as well as writing poems for her seventh collection Glass Pages.
